Dubravko Harapin (born in 1971, in Zagreb, Croatia) is a certified practitioner of Ayurvedic medicine (traditional Indian medicine), natural healing and different types of bodywork. He was educated at the leading institutions all around the world (the USA, India, Thailand, England and Sweden). Although his practice is primarily based on Ayurveda, he also uses other modalities related to holistic approach to health.
Dubravko studied Ayurveda under one of the World's leading authorities and authors of Ayurvedic literature, dr. Vasant Lad, thanks to whom he successfully combines academic and traditional knowledge. He finished his Ayurvedic studies at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which is one of the leading Ayurvedic institutions outside India.
After finishing his studies in the USA, Dubravko went to India where he lived for a year. In India, he continued his education through practice at dr. Lad's clinic and other clinics in Poona, India. Soon after coming back to Croatia, he met dr. Vaidy Balendu Prakash, an internationally acclaimed Ayurvedic physician, with whom he started to cooperate and to expand his knowledge.
In addition to Ayurveda, Dubravko has specialized in different types of bodywork; both Oriental and Western. In 2003, he finished the program at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, a world-famous school for massage and natural healing in the United States. He also studied Thai massage at Wat Po Medical School in Bangkok, Thailand. He studied structural integration in England as a part of the KMI (Kinesis myofascial integration) program. He also finished a chiropractic course at the Ackermann college in Stockholm, Sweden. For the last ten years he has regularly travelled to India in order to successfully transfer the wealth of Ayurvedic knowledge to his home country.
He has been practicing Ayurveda for more than ten years. He also teaches and runs public workshops, as well as specialized workshops for the students of Sanghy Yoga School in Zagreb, Croatia.
The most distinctive features of his work are full attention that he pays to his clients, a comprehensive diagnostics, personal approach and detailed instructions he provides to his clients in order to improve the quality of their lives.
As a passionate traveller, Dubravko has visited five continents and more than thirty different countries. His travels have been motivated by his professional growth and development, search for new experiences, desire to get to know other cultures and their customs, as well as learning at all levels.
Dubravko practices Ayurveda in Zagreb and regularly visits other places in Croatia. He lives on his ranch near Zagreb.
